St. Ratrick's Day

St. Ratrick was a legendary saint who drove all the snakes from Ireland, leaving the country safe for rats. Every year a huge parade is held in Chicago to honor the many Irish immigrants who settled here. But how can we forget that other immigrant to North America: the Norway Rat? We celebrate the memory of St. Ratrick with a parade of rat bikes.
As years went by, St. Ratrick's Day grew into a longer and more complex event. At one time or another, this Chicago bike event came to include a craft night, several bike rides, pot-lucks, a concert, bike games, parties, a movie night, and brunch. Other rat patrol chapters and bike clubs from all over the country continue to annually converge in Chicago for a guaranteed fun-filled stay.
