This octopus of a bike was parked on a side street in Washington, D.C.
Its got a complex arrangement of universal joints in a ring carrying the pedal power of seven riders to the rear wheels. There's even a stickshift transmission for changing gears.
It must take a lot of effort to get the thing rolling, and stopping. Its got disc brakes and even a generator to run the headlights.
Too bad nobody was around to try it out.
